Prof. Dr Yong-ju Jang, MD, PhD

Professor at the Department of Otolaryngology at the Asan Medical Center located in the University of Ulsan College of Medicine in Seoul, Korea. Immediate past president of the Korean Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and also serving as the Vice-president of Pan-Asian Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr Jang has written two textbooks on rhinoplasty and contributed chapters to various rhinoplasty textbooks. He has published 43 scientific papers on rhinoplasty in a number of international journals and was an invited speaker on rhinoplasty in 61 international conferences held in more than 20 countries. He is therefore, an extremely knowledgeable industry heavyweight on the subject of Rhinoplasty.

Prof. Ruby Pawankar, MD, PhD, FRCP, FAAAAI

Currently the Historian of the World Allergy Organization (WAO). She is Professor of Allergy, Department of Pediatrics at Nippon Medical School in Tokyo, Japan, and Guest Professor at the Kyung Hee University School of Medicine in Seoul, South Korea, and Showa University School of Medicine in Tokyo, Japan. Prof. Pawankar’s research has focused on the cellular and molecular mechanisms of allergy, in particular characterizing mast cells and T cells, epithelial cell-immune cell interactions, novel roles of IgE, mast cell-IgE cascade, environmental pollution, microbiome, immunotherapy and new therapies for respiratory allergies. She is Editor/ Associate Editor of peer-reviewed journals and several books including the WAO White Book on Allergy and Allergy Frontiers and is a co-author of consensus documents.

Dr Alkis Psaltis

A senior lecturer at the University of Adelaide and the current Head of Clinical Services in the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Adelaide, Australia. He manages all adult and paediatric conditions with a special interest in sinonasal and lacrimal disorders as well as anterior skull base surgery. He has a strong research interest having completed a PhD studying the role of biofilms in CRS in 2008. He has authored more than 60 peer-reviewed articles, 6 book chapters and serves as an associate editor on the Australasian supplement of the Journal of Otolaryngology. He is also a reviewer for 7 American based ENT journals .

Staff member, Department of Otolaryngology, Faculty of Medicine, hospital, Mahidol university, Bangkok, Thailand. He manages patients mainly in skull base lesions and some extension into intracranial. Dr. Roongpuvaphat research interest are in endoscopic to the skull base, to the orbit, internal carotid artery in the parapharyngx and many more. He wrotes chapter of Endoscopy for Skull Base Surgery in Endoscopy – Innovative Uses and Emerging Technology Book.

Graduated as ENT Specialist from Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia in 2009. Currently he works as Rhinosurgeon Fatmawati Hospital, Jakarta. His interest is endoscopic sinus surgery for chronic rhinosinusitis, nasal polyps and endoscopic skull base surgery. He has built a rhino-neuro surgery with his Neurosurgeon colleague in his institution and expand their competence in the management from pituitary tumor to varies skull base tumor and intracranial lesion.

Neurosurgeon of Fatmawati Hospital after he finished his residency in Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia since 2008. A rhino-neurosurgery team of Fatmawati hospital has been made by a strong collaborrative platform and using endoscope by two surgeons – four hand techniques for the entire surgery.

Rhinologist work in Metro Medical Centre (MMC) Hospital, Jakarta. She is very active in National Commision of Deafness Prevention after retired from teaching faculty of ORL-HNS Department, Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital. Her current works in building commission in provincial and distric level across Indonesia is a mandate from Ministry of Health of Republic Indonesia to achieve Sound Hearing 2020. When she was the President of The Indonesian ORL-HNS Society in 1999 – 2007, she encouraged section office of society across Indonesia to hold and arrange symposium and workshops in collaboration of medical education institution.

Professor in Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery of Faculty Medicine Universitas Indonesia. She is an active person in educational field as well as The General Secretary of The Indonesian ORL-HNS Society. She has been supervised and promoted a lot of research in any field of ORL-HNS in many doctorate program in universities across Indonesia not only in Universitas Indoena. She also has hold and maintain the annual continuing professional development program in the field of neurotology for ENT specialist and general practioner since 2006.

Otorhinolaryngologist, Consultant in Allergy Immunology, Otorhinolarygology Department, Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia, Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital Jakarta. Her research interest cover united airway concept in chronic rhinosinusitis  with nasal polyps and lower airway involvement manifestation either restrictive or obstructive type; allergic rhinitis and asthma and other manifestation of upper airway inflammation airway. Her passion in teaching made her concern about teaching methodology for medical student and its quality impact to Universitas Indonesia graduates.
